Creamy Rice Pudding

  • 3/4 c. Shirley J Universal Dessert Creme
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 c. Water
  • 2 c. Cooked Rice
  • 1/2 c. Raisins


Combine water, Dessert Crème, and vanilla. Mix on medium speed for two minutes. Add cooked rice, raisins, and cinnamon, stirring by hand to incorporate. Serve with sweetened whipped cream.

I have had two of my customers try this and they both said it was bad, BUT substitue milk instead of water and bake it a little. OR fold in some whipped cream into batter, they said that worked great. I am sure our test kitchen will be testing this to see which one would be better.

Thank you Shirley J for testing this recipe. In there test Kitchen they said this is pretty good, however, to make it creamy to put on the sweetened whipped cream. I will be trying it soon with milk. That is the wonderful thing why I like Shirly J, you can create anything to your own liking. I love these products.
