- 1 Fresh Fruit( as desired for filling)
- Vanilla Sauce
- 5 oz Shirley J Universal Dessert Creme
- 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. Water
- 1 c. Shirley J Universal Sweet Roll Mix
- 3/4 c. Milk
- 4 Eggs
- 1 Tbs Sugar
Combine all ingredients and mix on medium speed until smooth. Place a ¼ cup batter on flat, buttered griddle or crepe pan on medium heat. Smooth batter out until it is very thin. Allow batter to cook until the top dries out and underside is golden brown. Flip crepe using a large spatula; brown second side. Remove crêpe and stack between paper or cotton towel until all crepes are cooked. To serve, place 2-3 tablespoons of any combination of fresh fruit, whipping cream, fruit pie filling, cream cheese, etc. into center of crepe, and roll into a long, tube-shaped dessert roll. Top with vanilla sauce.
Combine dessert crème, water, and vanilla. Whip on medium speed for 30 seconds. Serve over crepes. If thinner sauce is desired, add an additional ¼ cup of water and ½ teaspoon vanilla.
